SUMMER CAMP REMINDERS |
|
ENROLLMENT FORMS:
Don't forget to turn yours in! The enrollment form ensures a place for
your child in the summer camp program. If you are not going to be here
please let your child's teacher know.
SUMMER CAMP SUPPLY FEES:
Your $25.00 June supply fee is due when you turn in your summer camp
application.
WEEKS OF ATTENDANCE:
You are required to circle the weeks of camp that you will be attending.
If you circle a week and you do not come, your account will be charged
for the week. If you do not circle a week and decide to come later,
there is no guarantee that there will be a spot available for your
child.
LUNCH:
We do not offer a hot lunch program during the summer session, so please
pack a lunch for your child. Don't forget to pack freezer blocks to keep
it all cold. If your child is in big camp (5 years and up) you may want
to freeze their juice boxes so they will be nice and cold by lunch time.

REPORT: SUMMER CAMP 2002 |
|
The first
half of summer camp has passed and we are having such a great time! We
started off with a bang on the first week... and we are still going strong!
First Week:
The first week of camp the big camp took part in making endangered species
signs and recycling bins around the camp.
Little camp made monkey puppets and torn paper collages.
Second Week:
The second week everyone tried their hand at archery at our sports time with
the coach.
Real Indians also came to visit!
Third Week:
The third week we had a giant inflatable wall-climb.
Fourth Week:
Carnival crusade week was filled with games and prizes!
The first
half of Summer Camp is never complete without a few "oops" to start
everything off:
-
Lost towels
(Oops... no name!)
-
Lost
underwear (Now, where did they go?)
-
Lost lunch
box (We fed them.)
-
Very dirty,
happy and tired kids going home (wait, that's pretty normal.)
-
So, what do
you do with one earplug.
Don't forget,
bedtime might need to be a little early this summer. |

SKATING FIELD TRIPS |
|
Skating field trips are for all children 5 years and
older. We have a charter bus that picks up at 9:00 a.m. sharp and drops
the children back off at around 12:30 p.m.
The field trip cost is $5.00, and includes skate
rental, admission, and the bus ride.
Don't forget to wear your
GREEN Circle "C"
t-shirt.
If you have any questions or concerns about the
skating field trip please contact the office. |

WELCOME NEW FAMILIES |
|
We hope your summer camp
experience is a great one! We want to encourage everyone to make sure every
child's name is on all of their clothing and lunches. If you are missing
anything, please check the big box located in front of the driveway area for
your lost items. If your child's name is written on their items they will be
returned much faster and if your child comes home with an item you do not
recognize, please return it and we will try to find the right owner.
As a quick reminder, we close at
6:00 p.m. - sharp! There is a $1.00 per minute charge for picking up after
6:00 p.m.
We are looking forward to taking
part in your child's summer!

WE NEED
RECYCLED ITEMS |
|
Ms. Patty needs art stuff from
home. We can always use toilet paper rolls, 2-liter bottles, gallon jugs,
old buttons, etc.
If you have any of these items
at home or if you would like to recycle them to us, please bring them in and
give to Ms. Patty, Tracy, or Sonya.
We can't wait to see what kind
of projects Ms. Patty has in mind for all of these recycled products!
